The Good: If you’re into a bright, flashy case then the G50VT-X5 has got it in spades. For its power, the G50VT-X5 is cheap compared to other notebooks. Alert displays are neat, and provide a more streamlined experience. Espeically if you IM, and Email a lot. HDMI connections. Has eSATA, and mini FireWire connections. Has mini subwoofer built-in providing some amazing sound.

The Bad: No Bluetooth connection. Very heavy, and might not be worth it if you’re taking it to class, or on the go alot. While the flashy case might appeal to some, it will detract others.

The Bottom Line: If you’re wanting power for gaming, but don’t want a desktop then the G50VT-X5 is a good option. If you’re looking for a notebook that’s easy to carry around, and access then you might want to look elsewhere.
