The attention of Buyers are getting towards Laptop’s which are portable rather than Desktop PC’S. The sale of Laptops are growing year-by-year and the growth is very high from 2008.
The users are looking for high performance notebooks and high end features. So, keeping this the companies are experimenting on new trend laptops.

Some of the features that the latest laptops are expected with are:-

• Long Lasting Battery Life:
This is the most important thing a user is looking for and i hope in future the manufacturers are looking for Batteries which can deliver power most of the time. Because competition is becoming more in this present situation companies want to gain attention to their products. Still hope this year many companies will fit their notebooks with the advanced batteries.
• Energy Efficient Hardware:
Modern day laptops are having most powerful processors with high frequency and hardware which consumes lot of power. The Users look of laptops which are more energy efficient but maintaining their expected performance.The companies are asking Hardware vendors like Intel and AMD to produce energy efficient hardware.So, if you want to buy a notebook see whether the laptop is energy efficient or not.
• Processor Clock Speed:
The processing speed will increase in coming Notebooks because gamers and business persons are looking for high processing speeds. At present day the fastest processor using today for Notebooks is 2.8Ghz from Intel which is Core2 Duo Processor. But Intel has released its new Intel® Coreâ„¢ i7-965 Extreme Edition which runs at 3.2GHZ clock speed but most of the companies are not offering it today. In the future the companies are looking to fit their Laptop’s will high speed processors. So, this is what Gamers as well as normal people are looking for.
• Latest Hardware:
USB3.0 is the latest version and has the highest speed compared to USB2.0 . It is announce in August 2008 but didn’t fit it to any laptops till now. But it is expected to be released in the latest version of laptops in 2009 or 2010.
High end Graphics is what most people wanted in their laptops. Most of the Games want high end graphics so gamers are looking for graphics card which supports higher graphics. The future games will need larger graphics support. So, people go for high end graphics.
• Slim, Sexy and weight less

Whether Girls or Boys they want their laptop to be slim and sexy. In 2008 Apple released small slim and sexy laptop “Apple Mac Book air”. It has gained huge popularity although it has less processor speed.People are also looking for weight less laptops and many companies are reducing the weight of their laptops. In future we can expect more.
